Requirements For A Reflections DVD
To effectively offer a Reflections DVD, your funeral home must meet some minimum requirements.  If you have any questions about these requirements or the best location to obtain supplies, please contact us.
Basic Computer Skills Basic Computer Knowledge
While we provide support and training, a basic understanding of files, folder navigation, email and internet is necessary to successfully fulfill upload, download, burn and print requirements for the Reflections DVD. 
Internet Explorer 7 Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) or Higher
This site was designed and built for use with Internet Explorer 7 (and higher) and a 1024x768 or better screen resolution.  While other browsers might be compatible with the usage of this site, it is highly recommended that you use Internet Explorer 7 or higher.  Get it here  
Note: Internet Explorer 8 RC-1 is currently available and fully functional in 'Compatibility View'.
Hi-Speed Internet Hi-Speed Internet Connection
A hard-wired (not WIFI) always-on hi-speed internet connection is needed to download the large DVD file we produce for you.  Please contact us and we can provide you a sample download project to test your internet connection and download speed.
Scanner Scanner
The largest and fastest flatbed scanner you can find is preferred.  You must also have scanner software that will let you save the scan as an image file to upload to our server.  We will show you the batch scan technique so you can quickly and efficiently scan photos.
DVD Burner DVD Burner
A basic DVD burner for making the final DVD.
Printer Printer
For printing DVD disk and case labels which will be provided in PDF format.
DVD-R Recordable Disks DVD-R Recordable Disks (Supplies)
DVD recordable media for burning the video to.  We recommend DVD-R media because they have greater compatibility with set-top DVD players.
DVD Case DVD Cases (Supplies)
Empty single disk DVD cases for the produced DVD and case artwork.
Paper 110 lb Card Stock (Supplies)
This card stock will be used for the shell label artwork that is placed in the DVD case.  The artwork to be printed on this paper will be provided in PDF format.
Paper Cutter Paper Cutter
This will aid in trimming the excess paper from the DVD cover artwork - highly recommended but not required.
2-Up Labels DVD 2-Up Labels & Spindle (Supplies)
This is the paper you will use to print the disk labels on.  The artwork to be printed on this paper will be provided in PDF format.  You will also need a label spindle to apply the label to the DVD.
DVD Player DVD Player
You will need a DVD player if you intend to make the video available for viewing during calling and/or service.
TV, Movitor or LCD TV, Monitor or LCD Projector
You will need an audio/video set-up to display the video if you intend to make it available for viewing during calling and/or service. A simple television with DVD player is sufficient.
